Secreton AB is the data controller for enquiries through Hua Hin Golf. For privacy questions, access to your information, correction or deletion requests, contact us through Secreton.
What we process
When you send an enquiry, we process your name, email address, optional phone number, message and the property concerned. Rental enquiries also include dates, guest numbers, cleaning preferences and the estimated price. Purchase enquiries include your offer and its currency. Property-listing requests include the property name, approximate area, type, description, preferences, optional property link and confirmation that you are authorised to represent the owner. Do not submit sensitive personal information.
Why we need it
We use these details to answer your enquiry and take steps at your request before a possible agreement. The legal basis is GDPR Article 6(1)(b). Necessary security and abuse prevention rely on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f). An enquiry is not a confirmed booking, sale or payment. Your details are not used for automatic marketing emails.
Storage and recipients
Enquiries are saved in Hua Hin Golf’s Turso database and transferred to Secreton’s protected shared inbox for personal handling. The booking administration shows necessary contact, date and price details to authorised staff. Private notes and manual handling or payment records may also be entered there. No automatic payment takes place on this website. Failed transfers remain in a delivery queue for retry; this is not the same as confirmed delivery.
Technical providers and security
Vercel provides website hosting; Turso stores the database and uploaded images. Authorised handling takes place through Secreton. Providers may process technical connection information and use subprocessors outside the EU/EEA; applicable data processing agreements and transfer safeguards must apply. Access is restricted and backups are encrypted. These safeguards are not a guarantee against every risk.
How long we keep it
Information is retained for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and necessary follow-up. Closed enquiries must be reviewed regularly and deleted when no longer needed. If an enquiry leads to an agreement or accounting records, different statutory retention periods may apply. Deleted information may remain in encrypted backups for their limited retention period; this project’s daily database backups are normally kept for 30 days. Closed enquiries are not intended to be kept indefinitely.
Cookies and language
A manual language choice may be stored in a cookie for up to one year so your Swedish or English preference is remembered. Without a manual choice, your browser language is used: Swedish selects Swedish, and every other language selects English. Owner administration uses a necessary protected session cookie when signed in. No payment or card details are requested and no marketing cookies are used.
Your rights
You may request access, correction and, where applicable, deletion, restriction or data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact Secreton to exercise your rights; we may need to verify your identity without collecting more information than necessary. You may complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
